2. Laykyun Setkyar – 130 m
The Laykyun setkyar is the second
tallest statue in the world at 130 m, including a 13.5 m throne it
was built on the top of Po Kaung hills near the city of Monywa in central
Myanmar. At its foot lies
the largest reclining Buddha statue in the world. The construction of Laykyun Setkyar started in 1996 and completed in 2008.

3. Ushiku Daibutsu – 120 m
The Ushiku Daibutsu is
located in the city of Ushiku in japan. Finished in 1995, this is the third largest statue in the world, The
statue have height of 110 meter without measuring 10 meter tall base. This
Buddha statue was completely made of Bronze.

There are four different levels within the statue,
visitors can reach the top by using the elevator. At first level visitors can
hear beautiful music, the 2nd level completely dedicated for scriptural
studies, third level filled with 30000 Buddha statues. From the top level
visitors can watch the beautiful gardens within the surroundings of statue.
4. Guan in statue – 108m
The statue of Guan Yin, Buddhist Goddess of
compassion, sited in Hainan province of China. This statue have height of 108
meter, became fourth tallest statue in the world. This statue have three
different faces, It is to represent the blessing from Goddess all over the
world.
The statue has three aspects with one side facing inland and
the other to facing the SouthChina Sea. The first face looks
towards the inland and other two faces points towards the sea. It took almost 6
years for the completion of this giant statue and was finished in 2003.
These sculptures are built to commemorate Chinese emperors Yan and Huang. The construction of these statues started in 1987 and took 20 years for the completion. These statues have height of 106 meter, located in Henan province of China.
Government spent $22.5 million for the construction of these statues. The eyes of these statues are 3 meters wide and nose have length of 6 meter.
6.Sendai Daikannon, Japan, 100 meter
Sendai Daikannan is the 100 meter tall statue located in Sendai, Japan. The statue represents the Japanese Buddhist Bodhisattva. This statue stands at top of hill in Sendai , can view from many part of the city.Sendai Daikannon holding a jewel within it’s right hand and a water hand in left hand, to our the water of wisdom. This statue was built in the memory of Russian emperor Peter
I, who ruled the country for 43 years. The 98 meter tall Peter the Great
statue facing Moskva river in Moscow city. The statue was designed by the
Georgian designer Zurab Tsereteli, used 600 tons of stainless steel and
Bronze. Peter the great statue weighs 100 tons and it unveiled in the year

10.The Mother Calls, Russia, 87 meter
The mother calls statue was built for commemorating the battle of Stalingrad
took place between 1942 August – 1943 February, one of major war of World War
II. It is located in the industrial city of Volgograd in Russia. This statue
have a height of 87 meters, the swords itself have length of 33 meters.The statue was designed by engineer Nikolai Nikitin and sculptor Yevgeny Vuchetich. More than 7900 tonnes of concrete used for the construction of this statue and presented to the world in the year 1967. There are 200 steps from bottom of hill to the statue for symbolizing the exact duration of Stalingrad war.
